New: Hunting on Away Status

The primary new capability in version 1.19 allows agents to remain available for chat routing even when their Teams status shows as 'Away'. This feature is configurable at the group level and benefits teams working in distributed environments, such as field support or hybrid workers who aren't constantly at their desks.

By enabling hunting even when agents are marked Away (if configured), teams that aren't constantly at their desks—like field support or hybrid workers—can still be reached, minimizing missed opportunities.

This enhancement is particularly valuable for organizations with mobile workforces, remote teams, or departments where employees frequently step away from their desks. Instead of missing potential customer interactions, uWebChat now ensures these agents can still be reached when configured appropriately.

Advanced Presence Preparation

This release includes groundwork for upcoming Advanced Presence features that will enable granular control over hunting behavior. Future releases will allow organizations to fine-tune hunting settings—for example, enabling hunting during 'Busy in Call' but disabling it during 'Busy in Meeting'. These enhanced options will give administrators precise control over agent availability.
