Data is processed on Microsoft Azure in the EU and delivered to your own Microsoft 365 tenant. There is no uWebChat database of conversations, so there is nothing to leak, subpoena or migrate. A data processing agreement is available on request.

Where is uWebChat hosted?
On Microsoft Azure in the EU region. Chats are delivered into your Microsoft Teams environment and never leave the Microsoft cloud.
Does uWebChat store chat transcripts?
No. The platform keeps no conversation history. You can archive transcripts to your own OneDrive or business email if you want a record.
Can I verify who a visitor is before sharing account details?
Yes. Visitor authentication sends a one-time code by email or SMS. The agent sees a verified badge in Teams before the chat starts.
How do agents deal with abusive visitors?
An agent can ban a visitor with one click, which blocks the IP address from starting new chats. Enterprise customers can also block entire countries.
Is a data processing agreement available?
Yes. Contact us and we will provide one. Because uWebChat stores no chat content, the list of sub-processors is essentially Microsoft.
